Head of Supply & Sourcing

As Head of Supply & Sourcing at NA-KD, you drive our global sourcing strategy, securing strong supplier partnerships that deliver on cost, quality, speed, and sustainability. You lead supplier portfolio management, country strategies, lead time optimization, and quality assurance across the value chain.

The role reports directly to the Chief Purchasing Officer (CPO) and is guided by the overall sourcing strategy, seasonal priorities, and company objectives as defined in collaboration with the CPO. The Head of Supply & Sourcing plays a key role in cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution from product development to delivery, while aligning sourcing activities with brand goals and company-wide targets.

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Own the overall sourcing strategy, ensuring a competitive, balanced, and responsible supplier base.
• Manage supplier segmentation and performance, developing long-term partnerships with key vendors.
• Evaluate and adjust production country mix based on speed, cost, margin, capacity, and risk factors.

• Secure consistent product quality in alignment with NA-KD’s standards, from development to final production.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and monitor quality protocols across all suppliers.
• Drive improvements in fit, material performance, durability, and customer satisfaction.

Operational Execution & Capacity Planning 

• Align supplier capacity planning with buying timelines and seasonal demand.
• Ensure accurate and timely production tracking, order follow-up, and risk mitigation.
• Optimize lead times and supply flexibility to enable speed-to-market and responsiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Purchasing, Design, Logistics, CSR, and Business Control to ensure sourcing and supply support business objectives.
• Contribute to overall budget planning, margin optimization, and long-term category development.
• Drive supplier onboarding, transitions, and exit strategies in coordination with product teams.

Your Past & Your Skills

• 10+ years of experience in sourcing, production, or supply chain management within the fashion or apparel industry.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of international supply markets, including risk management and compliance expectations.
• Deep knowledge of garment construction, quality assurance, and vendor production processes.
• Commercial mindset with demonstrated impact on margin, lead times, and vendor negotiations.
• Strategic and structured, with a hands-on mindset and ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Degree in Textile Economics, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent field.
