Fashion Buyer - Temporary Substitute

We are seeking a self-driven and analytical Fashion Buyer with an eye for trends to join our Knits team at NA-KD. In this role, you’ll balance customer demand, sustainability goals, financial targets, and market trends, while collaborating closely with Buying Assistants, Designers, Garment Technicians, and Controllers. 

You’ll hold responsibility for your category, driving it strategically through data-driven decisions and hands-on collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive a competitive, trend-led assortment for the Knits category
• Ensure the right product, at the right price and quantity, hits the market at the right time
• Analyze sales and KPIs, acting swiftly on performance shifts
• Build strong supplier relationships and optimize delivery times, cost prices, and quality
• Align with visual goals, sustainability targets, and seasonal trends
• Lead and coach the Buying Assistant, and act as the point of alignment for your team
• Collaborate with design and garment tech teams to secure fit and reduce returns

Your Past & Your Skills

• You have a proven track record in a similar role within our industry, with a strong understanding of the knit category and vertical production.
• You hold a relevant degree, such as a Bachelor's in Textile Economics or a similar field, and bring experience from working as a buyer, ideally with direct factory collaboration.
• You're analytical, confident in negotiations, and have a creative eye for detail, quality, and trends.
• A team player who also takes full ownership of your responsibilities, you're comfortable leading projects and driving them forward independently.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
